Curriculum Ideas

* Apologia - http://www.apologia.com/ has a list of all their curriculum choices. We have used the Astronomy and Botany for elementary students, and we loved it! It makes a great set of reference books for our work in The Weaver now!
* Mystery of History www.themysteryofhistory.com & Diana Waring’s History www.dianawaring.com are both wonderful! We used MOH and really loved it, added Diana’s stuff, and now use a bit of each as needed when we do Weaver's history.
* Learning Language Arts Through Literature www.commonsensepress.com we used it 2 years. The only reason we changed is because we moved to Weaver and LLATL gave us too many book studies that didn't flow with our unit.
* http://www.thephonicsroad.com/shop/index.cfm?aff=32901 The Latin Road curriculum is amazing! I'm using Volume 1 of the Phonics Road for our youngest and the Bridge to the Latin Road for our oldest. My youngest is thriving even with his auditory processing glitch! It is training his brain to work properly with letter formations and more!
* Math U See is what we have used, www.mathusee.com however we added Life of Fred http://www.stanleyschmidt.com/FredGauss/index2.html because our oldest is needing to be pushed a bit. We did start in the very young years using Pre-Math It and a little of Math-It… Liked those a lot too! You can find Math It and Pre Math It on www.cbd.com and search for it there. We also added Calculadders for my oldest, just to be sure the math he was learning was solid before moving forward. You can find it at http://www.schoolmadesimple.com/index.html.
* Beautiful Feet, great history program and at the very least the catalog is worth having to show a great read aloud book list! www.bfbooks.com We have fallen in love with the books they offer!
* I used this woman’s curriculum to help my son who has an Auditory Processing glitch and it’s wonderful- http://www.dianecraft.org/
* And as I mentioned on the home page, we LOVE All About Spelling. Check the link on the home page.
